Step-by-step Instructions

  1. Go to the Chuo Line Rapid platform at Shinjuku Station
    • The JR Chuo Line Rapid platform is located on the basement level 1 (B1F) at Shinjuku Station. Follow the signs for the Chuo Line Rapid platform.
  2. Board the train
    • Take the Chuo Line Rapid train heading toward Takao or Fujino. The destination will be shown on the front of the train as “Takao” or “Fujino.”

From Haneda Airport

  • Take the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa Station.
  • Transfer to the JR Yamanote Line at Shinagawa Station and go to Shinjuku Station.
  • At Shinjuku Station, transfer to the JR Chuo Line Rapid and take it to Fujino Station.

From Narita Airport

  • Take the Narita Express direct to Shinjuku Station.
  • At Shinjuku Station, transfer to the JR Chuo Line Rapid and take it to Fujino Station.

Taxi Access

From Haneda Airport to Fujino
Taking a taxi covers a distance of about 70 to 90 kilometers and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The fare is roughly between 25,000 and 35,000 yen (depending on traffic and time of day).
This option is recommended for those who want a comfortable door-to-door service or are carrying large luggage.

From Narita Airport to Fujino
The distance is about 100 to 110 kilometers, with an estimated travel time of 2 to 2.5 hours. The fare ranges from approximately 30,000 to 45,000 yen.
Although it is a long-distance ride, taking a taxi directly from the airport is very convenient.
