A Soothing Time Surrounded by Nature in a 150-Year-Old Traditional Japanese House – A Memorable Photo Session
Recently, a group of international guests who had been sightseeing in Tokyo visited our completely private, 150-year-old traditional Japanese house. Although they didn’t stay overnight, they used the space for a special photo shoot. Surrounded by tranquility and the charm of natural surroundings, they seemed to truly relax and enjoy the moment.
They told us how happy they were to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some peaceful time here—and we were just as happy to provide that experience.

The Charm of a Traditional Japanese Home and Our Guest’s Reaction
Our guests were truly moved by the unique atmosphere of the old house. The warmth of the aged wood and the refined beauty of the traditional Japanese design made such an impression that they couldn’t help but exclaim, “Amazing!”
They were especially captivated by the view of the garden from the engawa (veranda), and by the soft, filtered light streaming through the shoji screens. It was a moment that seemed to deeply touch their hearts.
A Kimono Experience That Embodies Japanese Tradition
To help our guests connect more deeply with Japanese culture, we recommended a kimono experience in the traditional house. Dressed in elegant kimono—Japan’s iconic traditional clothing—they enjoyed a photo session within the beautifully preserved space. It surely became a truly special memory captured in timeless photographs.
A Private Monorail Ride to a Scenic Viewpoint
Since they had some extra time, we also guided them on a unique journey aboard a private monorail to a secluded observation deck. This rare and exclusive experience brought great joy, offering them a breathtaking view of Japan’s natural beauty. It became another unforgettable highlight of their visit.
During the ride, as they admired the scenery through the windows, they engaged in lively conversation with our staff about Japan’s seasons and cultural traditions. Through this special monorail journey, it felt as though their understanding and appreciation of Japan had grown even deeper.
A Meaningful Cultural Exchange
We are truly pleased that through this experience, our international guests were able to feel the beauty of Japan’s traditional culture and natural surroundings.
We will continue striving to make our space a special place where many people—both from Japan and around the world—can create lasting memories and meaningful connections.
We also share updates regularly on Instagram, so we would be delighted if you gave us a follow!
